@TheCreakingDoor @btrembly What attributes does he have that our current WR room doesn’t have? How does he add value? Brazzell is 6’5” and ran 4.3. Branch is electric. Lane is 6’4” and runs 4.4. No one except Malik Washington is in this category!!
English

@btrembly Man, I feel like you and I are among the few that’s seeing this draft the same way! Grier has to be just laughing his ass off! Meanwhile the Jets and Bills are slaying the draft!
English

@hashtag_whiskey @QuanDaYoungin95 @KingOfPhinland Bell won’t play the first half of the season either. Who cares when you can get elite talent in the 3rd round!?!?
English

@QuanDaYoungin95 @KingOfPhinland McCoy might not even play this year
English

@QuanDaYoungin95 @KingOfPhinland 💯💯💯💯 You hit the nail on the head! Feels like Grier might’ve actually made the right picks here. I just threw up in my mouth!!
English

@KingOfPhinland The way the board fell we should’ve easily killed the third round. Imagine at 75 we went Hurst or Brazzell, at 87 Pregnon, and 94 Bell. You could even squeeze in McCoy to one of those picks if you wanted to.
English

@PigskinPapers @KingOfPhinland I’m not as high on Rodriguez as everyone else. He made his name on creating turnovers. If he can’t duplicate that in Miami, he won’t see a 2nd contract. When drafting in the first 2 rounds, you’re selecting guys that you think you’ll feel the need to extend! Grier2.0!!
English

@KingOfPhinland Agree
Rodriguez and Johnson and Bell are going to be the 3 picks from this draft that help the team the most, IMO
English

@KingOfPhinland No, picking Douglas before our last pick of the 5th round at the earliest when we have so many other good players available is why we’re pissed! Honestly, is he better than our WR3 right now? No. Brazzell, Branch or Lane be our WR2 at the very least. All were available at 75!
English

@AlexDonno While I want everyone to come to the U, we already have a stable of backs now and will in ‘28 class too. Not worried.
English

@FinsXtra Agree 1,000%! He wasn’t even in the top 5 in his conference and we let guys that were go to other teams!!
English

📉 Mel Kiper believes the Miami Dolphins reached for Texas Tech WR Caleb Douglas at #75:
"[Douglas] was a big, big reach... he was my WR24. Thirteen WRs ranked above him were still out there. For a team with Washington and Tolbert topping the depth chart, the Dolphins had to do better." (@espn) #PhinsUp

English

@OmarKelly Yes, take the guys you like but don’t take them 3 rounds early and lose out on better prospects at other positions or the same! It’s highly likely that they could’ve signed him as a UDFA if they didn’t take him with picks 227 or 238!
English

And CLEARLY the Dolphins evaluators rated Caleb Douglas ahead of them…..
Take the players you like
Brett Trembly@btrembly
Every one of these WRs was available when the Dolphins took some unknown WR out of Texas Tech. Book mark this post. Unreal.
English

@TheListFinsPod And could’ve kept the 3rd pick to draft Johnson too! Should have Keonte Scott and Brazzell too!
English

@AlexGonzo2525 @btrembly If culture was the thing, you don’t select Proctor and you either stay at 11 and take Downs/Bain/Ioane or you take Bain/Ioane at 12, as both were team captains and culture guys! Reaching for late day 3 WR and TE in the 3rd when a leader like Keonte Scott is there is dumb!
English

@btrembly You didn’t listen to his press conferences close enough. Culture
English

@chanleck1 @btrembly Could’ve easily taken him in day 3! We had a desperate need at S, CB & WR. Meanwhile JES drafter a day 3 WR when Brazzell & Branch were available!!
English

@btrembly I get it. But watch this dude, he's vicious. x.com/i/status/20478…

I know Dolphins fans are angry, but DO NOT be angry about Will Kacmarek This is a 6th offensive lineman who doesn’t drop the ball
English

@btrembly I agree but I’d throw Rodriguez into the mix and say the only pick he got right was Bell at 94! That kid will be an absolute game changer! He would’ve been a 1st rounder had he not blown his ACL in Nov. That’s the only bad thing about that pick. Won’t see him til wk 9.
English

@OmarKelly Rome wasn’t built in a day…
This is a multi year plan.
Smart not to draft from desperation, quality picks and stay the course.
English

“I had to remind myself 100 times over again that you can’t fix it all in one weekend,” Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan on not addressing the edge rusher position. “I wish we had a chance to address edge. I like the guys on the roster, but it just didn’t fall that way…..You are never going to be able to do it all.”
English

@QFlaming67 @OmarKelly Bain was there at 12! Then there were others when he picked the shitty WR early in the 3rd!
English

@OmarKelly The way the board has fallen he’s 100% right. But we’ll be taking S and Edge guys tomorrow early and often with our remaining picks. Maybe throw in another OL like a G or straight T prospect.
English

@OmarKelly Yep. He was too busy drafting a WR with a 7th rd grade and a blocking TE with a 5th/6th rd grade instead!
English

@OmarKelly Meh. He’s too small to play vs the run and too slow to cover RBs and TEs in the NFL!
English

@FinsG28 I hope we’re wrong but I think JES is gone in 3 yrs! Bell is the lone pick from either day and he won’t be able to play until the 2nd half of the season! Johnson isn’t bad but losing a 3rd rd pick to move up tarnished the pick. Then again, he’s proven he can’t draft. So…
English

Beginning of the End for JES. He may be a meathead.
Passed on 2 cant miss players for a project
