@Montrealdolfan @MiaFins1 Plus with Malik’s contract it gives at least 1 year to let the franchise guy sit and learn before taking over. Another crucial piece of the puzzle
English

@QFlaming67 @MiaFins1 You kind of have to have a QB before you can take that approach. The Dolphins haven’t had one for 26 years. Malik Willis won’t be that guy either.
English

@Montrealdolfan @MiaFins1 You aren’t entirely wrong. More than likely you’ll be right about Malik not being the guy. More than likely though Malik will be at last a quality starter while we increase the talent on the team so when we do draft our franchise guy he doesn’t have scraps around him
English

@TheListFinsPod Cole Peyton is my guess. Big athlete, can move, 230 lb, has a rocket arm.
English

Jon-Eric Sullivan says Miami would've pulled the trigger on some QBs in the draft had they been there at specific values
"We really like (Mark) Gronowski. Big athlete, can run, can move. He's a 230lb man with a pretty good arm."
Which drafted guy is he referring to?

@VitotheFinsFan2 You just made me realize, I hope proctor chooses a different number. Got me having Eichenburg flashbacks

Paul and Brewer are solidified. Jackson can be solid WHEN hes healthy. Proctor is gigantic and Jonah going back to his natural position. They may actually have something here. We shall see.

@OmarKelly I’m gonna say that Mestemaker, Sayin, and Manning. Yes Manning. Won’t be in the 27 class. They’ll play another full year before leaving.
English

I remember when they did this for the 2026 class, Mendoza wasn’t on it, and everyone who was tanked during the season.
Jordan Schultz@Schultz_Report
The 2027 NFL Draft QB class is insanely deep. I can tell you right now: there are teams and scouts who are absolutely giddy about it. 🔥
English

@ScottBarrettDFB I mean, if you’re going to trade him then you have to show he can play. That’s how I’m choosing to see it anyway
English

@Montrealdolfan @MiaFins1 You draft a QB before you need one is this regime’s mentality. It’s what has kept the Packers from being in QB purgatory. We could use a few decades of being out of that
English

@QFlaming67 @MiaFins1 Makes zero sense to draft a QB at the same level as the current one. This mentality is what has kept us mediocre for 2 decades plus. Just dumbass lateral moves.
English

Kadyn Proctor will play Left Guard this season for the new-look Dolphins... wait... you used the 12th overall pick, in a rebuild, on a Guard?
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate
#Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan said on @JoeRoseShow that the team plans to have No. 12 overall pick Kadyn Proctor play LG this season.
English

@MavsGirl77 Nah you can thank LeBron for starting this. Sure SGA does it but he was the starter nor is he the reason it’s become an issue. It’s LeBron. Through and through.
English

@KevHarlanEffect Only if Jonah can take a step forward (I think he will) and Jackson can play as many games as possible next year.
English

Malik and Achane are gonna be working behind this offensive line…
LT - Patrick Paul 🏔️
LG - Kadyn Proctor 🐘
C - Aaron Brewer 💥
RG - Savaiinaea/Salyer❓
RT - Austin Jackson 🛡️
Not too shabby at all. Good, even.

Alejandro Solana@AlexMSolana
Jon-Eric Sullivan tells the @JoeRoseShow they’re planning on playing Kadyn Proctor at left guard this season
English

@TheFinsReset @MattInfante To be fair, there are players who played on one side and switched and did extremely well. I would start KP at LG just from the continuity from the left side from college and not have an issue like we had with Jonah last year.
English

@MattInfante Tunsil played LG though and transitioned to LT. Proctor may transition to RT after this season which may worry me a bit. I thought they would start him at RG to at least get acclimated to the right side
English

Kadyn Proctor starting at LG really isn't a huge surprise. Even Laremy Tunsil started at guard before transitioning to tackle.
The bigger questions are:
1) Is LG Proctor's long-term home? Or is it temporary?
2) If Austin Jackson plays poorly or gets hurt, does Proctor move to RT immediately?
English

The Ohio State QB might be better than Arch. Not the Oregon one
SleeperDolphins@SleeperMiami
If the Miami Dolphins have the #1 overall pick in next years draft, who would you want to be selected? - Arch Manning - Jeremiah Smith
English

@OmarKelly 2 out of the 3 blocking TE’s that went ahead of Kacmarek went in round 2.
English

Garrett Nussmeier went 249th

Planting my flag right now… The 2026 #1 Overall Pick
Deutsch

@STOP_Gumbytime Technically one of the LB’s will be a hybrid LB/S. So it covers both positions
English

@KingOfPhinland And he’s big and a good run defender. In round 7.
English

@Marcel_LJ @HollywoodxKev I like it a lot. Been a long time so e we’ve had more than 7 draft picks. Not everyone will pan out, but if we have a 50% hit rate that means at least 6-7 of these guys play ball for us for a while. Compared to only 3-4 if we had 7 picks. Tough, physical, and big. The JES way

The Miami Dolphins' first draft class under Jon-Eric Sullivan:
1.12 OT Kadyn Proctor, Alabama
1.27 CB Chris Johnson, San Diego State
2.43 LB Jacob Rodriguez, Texas Tech
3.75 WR Caleb Douglas, Texas Tech
3.87 TE Will Kacmarek, Ohio State
3.94 WR Chris Bell, Louisville
4.130 EDGE Trey Moore, Texas
4.138 LB Kyle Louis, Pittsburgh
5.158 S Michael Taaffe, Texas
5.177 WR Kevin Coleman Jr., Missouri
5.180 TE Seydou Traore, Mississippi State
6.200 OG DJ Campbell, Texas
7.238 EDGE Max Llewellyn, Iowa
English

@KyleCrabbs next year just keep the FB hype to yourself so they don’t get taken in round 5. Was not expecting them to go u til rounds 6 or 7
English

@OmarKelly I’m seeing players that fit the Packer mold at Edge that we may be able to get in rounds 4 and 5 though. May have to trade up early on day 3 to get a S though that we really like.
