@iammikkymighty The fact Bruno first Assist came on MW8 playing as CDM tells the entire story (20🅰️ in 29 Matches). Amorim wasn't even playing Sesko who turns out to be the leading scorer in the team now. Cunha had barren period, Mbeumo too. Casemiro with 7 goals assisted by Bruno is underrated.

Am I the only one who wants Bruno Fernandes to break the record from a set piece? I’m getting addicted to their tears 😂😂

@hcashin1 20 years from now the game might be played at a breakneck speed assisted by AI that would make Shearer look shit in comparison but Shearer wasn’t trying to be better than players decades in the future, he only had to be one of the best in HIS era.

@hcashin1 Bruno Fernandes is only responsible for being better than his peers in the era he’s in.

No matter what you achieve, there is always someone waiting to tear you down. Unreal achievement for Bruno… but that’s just the negativity of modern football pundits, why is that generation of retired footballers so sour 😵‍💫

🚨🚨🎙️ Alan Shearer SLAMS Bruno Fernandes matching the Premier League assist record: “The intensity of the league is weaker now than it was in the Henry and Kevin eras.” “Fair play to Bruno Fernandes because twenty assists in the Premier League is not easy, but I still think people are getting carried away comparing every era like they’re exactly the same. When Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne were putting up those numbers, the league felt far more intense to me. Back then you had defenders flying into tackles, midfielders constantly on top of you, and creative players barely had a second to breathe. Now the game is more open, more tactical, and honestly attackers get protected a lot more. Bruno is a fantastic player, nobody is denying that, but the conditions are different. And let’s be honest, everything at Manchester United goes through him. Every attack, every transition, every set piece. Naturally your numbers are going to explode when the entire system is built around you touching the ball all the time. For me, when Henry and De Bruyne did it, there was this control and dominance to their teams. Arsenal and City were overwhelming sides playing incredible football week after week. With Bruno, sometimes it feels more chaotic, more moments than complete control. So yes, respect the achievement, absolutely. But matching the number doesn’t automatically mean it carries the exact same weight across different eras.”

Here’s the thing with this idiocy, Bruno Fernandes is only responsible for being better than his peers in the era he’s in. 20 years from now the game might be played at a breakneck speed assisted by AI that would make Shearer look shit in comparison but Shearer wasn’t trying to be better than players decades in the future, he only had to be one of the best in HIS era.

People genuinely don’t understand how absurd this record is. This isn’t “good home form.” This isn’t a lucky streak. This is a 42-year footballing law. Since August 1984, United have led at half-time at 400 times… …and have NEVER lost a single one. 400 games. 365 wins. 35 draws. 0 defeats. 91.2% success rate. 😳 Think about how impossible football is to control for that long. Different eras. Different managers. Different squads. Different tactical systems. Different opponents. Different football generations. From Ron Atkinson… to Sir Alex Ferguson… to Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer, Ten Hag, Amorim and now Carrick. The world itself completely changed around this record. The Premier League didn’t even exist when it started. The Soviet Union was still alive. Mark Zuckerberg was still a baby. My mom wasn't even married to my dad. Yet one thing remained untouched: If Manchester United walked into the Old Trafford dressing room leading at half-time… the game was over. That is not just form. That is aura. That is history. That is psychological warfare built across generations ❤️🏟️🔴

400 - Manchester United are now unbeaten in each of their last 400 home league games in which they have led at half-time (W365 D35), a run which began in August 1984. Ridiculous.

@brunoballl So Gabriel Obarton, Tom Cleverly, Gibson, Nick Powell, Macheda are more of Premier League greats than Gerrard, Harry Kane, Suarez, Torres, Zola, Bale, Le Tessier, Xabi Alonso, Robbie Fowler, Luka Modric and more others that have not won EPL? Clueless fellow @Carra23
