Fantastic performance by our Yr8&9 Maths team in coming 2nd of 20 schools in the UKMT Team Challenge held at Monmouth School 🥈

We are v proud of @officialCHS student Tadeas in Yr13 for being a category winner in the @MoMath1 @UKMathsTrust Einstein Hat competition. He created an algorithmic visual and audio celebration of the hat. Tadeas receives his award, and a £1000 prize, at the House of Commons today

@_MissWhiteMaths We give all ss 2 packs of past papers (calc,non-calc); each one contains 5 past papers. Ss complete one paper per wk as hwk, although some time given in class and help available during an after school session once per wk. Start in Feb! About 60 ss attend 🎓

@CHSmaths I’m really intrigued by this! Please could I have more info. Do you print papers for students when theta arrive or do you already have them printed? Do they pay for them etc. and also, at what point in the year do you start this? And (sorry!!) what is the uptake like?
