We ran various activities throughout the day on Friday (3.14) to celebrate Pi Day, one of those being a Pi-recital competition! Our winner of this years recital, correctly reciting 157 digits of pi 🤩👏🏼🏆 sensational! Ardderchog Hao jin! @crickhowellhs @crickmaths

@Mathemategol Hi! I love OneNote for my lessons. I use it on a laptop or iPad. My iPad connects to the TV in my classroom so I can write on the iPad throughout the lesson (examples etc) and they are projected on the screen. I usually use my laptop to plan the lesson structure as I find it ..

@_MissWhiteMaths Hiya! I've made it a target for the new year to try out One Note as I don't find Google Slides compatible with how I teach. I've noticed you're a one note user- fo you use a tablet for it or a laptop/desktop? Thank you :)

I'm looking for advice/sharing of info from anyone carrying out maths interventions in secondary school with students who haven't picked up the absolute basics. Struggling to find any kind of programme or resource. Pls rt @mathsjem

@ripley_rachael @martell1966 Two sides to this argument! I have never been able to leave my class to go to the toilet - I plan to go at break time or lunch time. I usually let students go to the toilet when needed in lesson but when it’s the first 15-30 mins after break or lunch I will question it!

Thought I’d play around with how I teach simplifying surds this week to my Year 10s as I am tired of learners not loving the topic! Linking it to prime factor trees, but square factor trees and it has worked so well - I am late to this party! Da iawn Blwydden Deg 🤩👏🏼

Always my favourite thing to include in my introduction lesson to converting recurring decimals to fractions! Start off with asking them a true or false question, and end by proving the majority wrong algebraically 🤩
