In 1950 Dr. M Vera Peters authored a paper that suggested Hodgkin’s disease could be treated with radiation. Her findings were met with skepticism, and it was 10 years before it became widely accepted by the medical community.   #FMWC100 #MedicalMilestone #WomenInMedicine
