@BDuchek @CIMRemus @Kotyjo Wet here as well. Went for a drive this afternoon and I’m not sure I even have a field I can spray tomorrow. If it looks like rain coming by weekend we’ll just have to mud in some acres again to try to get something in the ground. About 15% complete… starting to feel like 2011

On the Ag file. It rained yesterday; the yard had another half inch of water all over the place. The field I just left before the rain ended up with a 1/4 inch, and our south stuff got another half inch for a total of over 2 inches of rain so far since the snow left. Prices are insane for everything, parts-wise and inputs. The only thing steady is, let's not pay the farmers a fair price because they are going to produce a bumper with min fertilizer, high inputs, insane fuel costs, plus frost rain drought snow etc. Have a great Saturday. @BDuchek @Kotyjo I was out visiting some farmers and retails South of Shoal Lake/Strathclair on Friday and they were grinning and doing the "happy dance" that it was raining for them, as well. Crazy to see the variability in moisture this year.

@Kotyjo @CIMRemus We got over 3" inches of rain on Friday night on some of our land. Have a few quarters that won't be seeded this spring. Went to Regina yesterday through Melville and FortQuappelle. Couldn't believe how dry the fields were.

Going to try doing a Favourite 'Agronomy' Friday picture, of what I find during the week. This week I was digging around in some Edge treated fields and finding some good activity happening. Tame Oat control with #EdgeMicroActiv @gowancanada Root & Shoot action very visible

Another Kochia report coming at you with a Vengeance from Esterhazy SK area. Very surprising to see how cold the soil is, with how cool the temperatures have been, and how much growth is in the field. #Scout26 #Plant26

@kylewalkeden @rhofford Depends on the water quality/water tests. Different products have different rates as well but usually ½L to 1L per acre. Winfield United has a product called Crimson that I'm a fan of. Should be able to get through most Indy retails. Chat with your retail to help you out with it!

@CIMRemus @rhofford Typically how much AMS ?

do guys put crimson or ams in their liberty for canola?

@rhofford Depends on what kind of soil movement Avadex isn't water soluble so won't have "leached". But if the granule itself or the soil it treated has physically moved (wind, water or otherwise) the product will leave with the soil. Hope that makes sense. Call if you want to discuss!

@bigmothufacking Being a Gowan rep I'm partial to Edge for residual control of Kochia and Insight for a burn down 🔥 lol It's always really disappointing when guys aren't on top of management of a weed like that and it impacts all the guys around who are being diligent.

Guy here had a half section of Kochia. It blew across all the neighborhood fields last fall. Be interesting to see what emerging this spring. Neighbours fields had zero kochia before
