This cross-industry report on the current skill shortages within #construction makes for fascinating reading. On the right are occupations there is a severe shortage of. Members of ND community could be ideal candidates given their strengths and if embraced and supported.

@profamandakirby There are no published statistics that we are aware of so one of our first goal is to get some current ND statistics across the industry to see what the picture is. Thanks for the interest and will certainly update when we have any.

According to figures published in 2018 there were 2.4 MILLION construction jobs in the U.K. It’s an industry that in 2017 was responsible for 6% of GDP. Wonder how many of those are Neurodivergent and how great it would be if everyone was supported to reach their potential
