A man has been charged after a dramatic crash in Melbourne’s CBD just before peak hour yesterday. Police allege the 27-year-old Ardeer man was behind the wheel of a stolen wagon driving erratically at the intersection of Flinders and William streets before colliding with another vehicle, crashing into a traffic light and narrowly missing pedestrians. He allegedly jumped from the moving car before it ploughed into a tram stop, then tried to steal another vehicle nearby.
