Antarctic sea ice has likely reached its minimum extent for the year, at 1.98 MM sq km (764,000 sq mi) on 3/1. The 2025 minimum is tied with 2022 & 2024 for second lowest in the satellite record. The last 4 minimums have been the lowest on record. nsidc.org/news-analyses/…
