Scotland is a really toxic place. There is no footballing set up like it. An absolute shambles of a bowling club. Bitterness and jealousy at every turn. Self preservation the only priority. Nothing to better the game.
A couple of years ago I went to a summer camp in rural upstate New York, in the middle of the Adirondacks. I walked into the recreation hall on the first day to find a Celtic flag hanging from the ceiling. Celtic has a global following the others could only dream of.
