@mattlindner For those giving up on the lovable losers Cubs, Sox are on tv today at 3pm against San Fran. And back home tomorrow at 1pm against Minnesota.
“Why are Cubs tickets so expensive today?”
“Oh it’s because Matt Lindner tweeted how the cheapest one was 9 1/2 el pastor burritos from El Burrito Mexicano and that one price drove the price up to 10 1/2 burritos.”
First pitch forecast at Wrigley tonight calls for 74 and cloudy. $25 gets you in the door on SeatGeek, $62 gets you in the bleachers, a shade over $230 for the all you can eat and drink seats. It's Monday, you're doing your best. Come on down.
As the Chicago Bears weigh potential moves to Arlington Heights or Northwest Indiana, a new proposal is pitching a different future — keeping the team at Soldier Field with a major overhaul of the historic stadium. fox32chicago.com/sports/chicago…
@CrainsChicago Rate Field is adjacent to both the CTA’s red and green lines plus the Metra’s Rock Island line. In addition, there is plenty of parking lots right off expressway exit. The rail yard site should be reconsidered since it doesn’t offer transportation convenience.

The Washington Post has the best sports section in the country, and I don’t think it’s particularly close. Only a soulless corporate goon would think the paper is better without it. A short-sighted, cowardly decision. Shame is your legacy.
I was 16 years old when I fell in love with the White Sox, Dick Allen was why. He was unique. The first player to have Walk-up Music. Nancy Faust, the Famous Sox Organist, Played "Jesus Christ Superstar" as he approached with Wampum, his 40oz. bat!
Now he is in the HOF! Congrats!
“Statistically, the decline in banks since the start of the Great Financial Crisis is less a product of increased merger activity and more a product of the steep decline in new bank formation.”
Since 2010, less than six new banks have been formed per year. From 1995 to 2007, the fewest new banks established in a year was 93. In 1984 alone, 412 new banks were formed.
