Brussels has a toxic car culture, this is known to anyone either walking, cycling or driving in Brussels. I agree that it has become worse over the years. Time for politicians to stop ignoring the obvious and start promoting a dialogue on mobility issues fitting for this century.

🇸🇪 Sweden became NATO’s newest member upon depositing its instrument of accession to the North Atlantic Treaty in Washington DC. With Sweden’s accession, NATO now counts 32 countries among its members

Sverige är nu medlem i Nato och vi är därmed ett tryggare land. Tack alla allierade som välkomnar oss som den 32:a medlemmen. Vi är starkare tillsammans.

It’s official – #Sweden is now the 32nd member of #NATO, taking its rightful place at our table. Sweden’s accession makes NATO stronger, Sweden safer, and the whole Alliance more secure. I look forward to raising their flag at NATO HQ on Monday.

Today is a historic day. The parliaments of all NATO member states have now voted in favour of Swedish accession to NATO. Sweden stands ready to shoulder its responsibility for Euro-Atlantic security.
