Farewell, bird site! I can't support Elon Musk and those who would destroy our democracy. I haven't used this site in a while, but will be moving over to Bluesky and deleting this account in the next few days. Please come find me over there: bsky.app/profile/cjlove…

One of the side gigs I am hoping to take on is using my experience as a Director of Data Science (and other previous roles) to help people prepare #DataScience #interviews and review resumes. Please forward to those looking for a job! fiverr.com/s/39qQ9V

@MMikeMMa Creating edges within a graph is reasonably straight forward if done correctly. In my talk I used Neo4j to do it: towardsdatascience.com/create-a-graph… You can also explore other Python packages to do it, like networkx, but these tend to not scale well or generate embeddings.

Hi @CJLovesData1 👋 Thanks for your talk on graph analytics/ML! Was super helpful bird's eye view on what's possible! It seems like scalability is a challenge for Graph ML - in terms of (a) creating nodes/edges & (b) computat. intensity. For (a), can LLMs help us generate edges?

If you write a blog post or academic journal article about machine learning, show results, but don't share your code, you are dead to me.

I am very excited to announce what is next for me in my journey! Those who know me know that I am incredibly passionate about the ski industry. Today I have started in my new role as the Director of Data Science for Vail Resorts! The combination of my two loves: data + skiing.

It is with mixed emotions that I announce that yesterday was my last day at Neo4j. Such a great company made up of great people doing great work! Exciting times for me though and I am very, very fortunate for what comes next! Taking a week off now, stay tuned!

@PamelaBrauda @neo4j Thank you so much! SQL has its place, but there are so many graph-y data science problems that are very unpleasant to try and solve with it. The right tool for the job. #ODSCEast
