I have been thinking about Charlie Kirk a lot this Easter season. He inspired so many young men to embrace the Christian faith.
He was a great man, and he is deeply missed.
God bless you, Charlie Kirk.

I just got back from the Charlie Kirk vigil in London. Here is Young Bob giving a powerful speech on courage! Charlie will not be forgotten. The Unite the Kingdom rally tomorrow is going to be historic! @YoungBobTPUK @TRobinsonNewEra

Our hearts are broken. On this Easter Sunday, a wife, kids and grandkids are mourning the loss of this man. Per his agency:
Deputy Michael Jimerson, 61, husband, father, grandfather, was shot and killed in the line of duty this week on disturbance call in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Deputy Jimerson and other Jackson County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
One of the subjects fled, then pulled out a gun and fired as Jimerson pursued. Jimerson returned fire, and in the exchange of gunfire, both were struck.
Deputy Jimerson was transported to Ocean Springs Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds. The suspect died at the scene.
Deputy Jimerson had served with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office for 16 years. Survivors include his wife, two children, and grandchildren.
His son is a police officer at a nearby police department. “Since I’ve been here, I’ve never gotten a single complaint about him,” Jackson County Sheriff John Ledbetter told the Sun Herald.
“He had a positive impact on everybody he met. The community loved him. Everybody at the Sheriff’s Department who worked with him loved him.”
By day, Jimerson worked full-time for Sparklight Internet and Mobile, then spent his evenings patrolling the streets of Jackson County.
“He would go to work all day at Sparklight, go home and change, and then go to work for the Sheriff’s Department,” Sheriff Ledbetter said.
“Everybody just loved him.”
Michael Jimerson. Say his name. His life mattered. REPOST and let's honor him.

🚨“WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Office Members, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is SAFE and SOUND!” - President Donald J. This young marine saved the day, proving yet again, not all heroes wear capes!
While on pre-deployment leave in July 2023, U.S. Marine Cpl. Jacob Cogswell, 23, was boating on New York’s Oneida River with his girlfriend and her parents. As they passed under a train bridge where teens often jumped in, Cogswell spotted one teen swept away by a strong current, struggling and panicking as bystanders ignored his calls for help. “You could hear it in his voice,” Cogswell later recalled.
Without hesitation, the machine gunner jumped in wearing just his T-shirt and shorts. Drawing on his Marine Corps water survival training, he fought the current for about five minutes, had the teen wrap his arms around his shoulders, and swam him safely back to the boat. “The relief I saw on the teen’s face kept me going,” he said. The group checked the unharmed teen and returned him to shore and his friends.
Months later, on January 12, 2024, at Camp Schwab in Okinawa, Japan, Cogswell was surprised with the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal during a battalion formation.
His girlfriend’s dad had quietly contacted the command about the rescue. Cogswell downplayed the award: “I didn’t do it for recognition... Being a Marine is doing things not for yourself, but for others. Don’t be afraid to act.”
