Muranga Youth Service 8th cohort commenced community work today. So far 8400 youths have undergone this work- study programme. 2 months work, 3 months training,NITA exams grade 3 and seed capital of 15k.

On the sidelines of the AU Executive Council Meeting in Addis Ababa, we officially launched Kenya’s candidature of Judge Phoebe Okowa to the International Court of Justice for the full 2027–2036 term, a moment that reflects both national pride and Africa’s growing voice in shaping global justice. Elected in November 2025, Prof. Okowa made history as the first Kenyan, the first African woman, and only the eighth woman globally to serve on the ICJ bench, a remarkable milestone that continues to inspire a new generation of African legal minds. As Kenya, we will actively engage and rally the support of our African colleagues to ensure Judge Okowa continues contributing her outstanding scholarship, deep experience in international law, and global perspective for the benefit of our continent and the international community. I was joined by Prof. @Profshaukat, Principal Secretary for Science, Research and Innovation, Ambassador Galma Boru, and Deputy Ambassador @PetronilaWere, as we advanced this important continental engagement.
