Honored to be part of Greece’s National Day celebration in Washington, D.C. 🇬🇷 At Yala, we’re working to define Greek ice cream in the United States—but more importantly, to build something rooted in koinonia—community, connection, and shared experience. To represent even a small piece of Greece in our nation’s capital, alongside such an incredible community, is something we don’t take lightly. Grateful to the Greek Embassy for including us in this special moment.

I’m now learning what “face card” and “caught in 4k” mean.

Watching Bad Bunny’s halftime show near a restaurant kitchen was a reminder: representation isn’t theoretical. People saw their heritage and dignity reflected back at them. Cheers. Anticipation. Heartfelt emotion. That feeling exists everywhere because people from all walks of life, like my Papou, didn’t just arrive here. They helped build us. They’re our future, as much as our past. Not just a halftime show. As America celebrates 250 years, thankfully, a mirror of who we are.

@GuitarDad74 I’m all for a legal immigration system. But let’s be honest: raiding restaurants isn’t making us safer. The real threats—cartels, fentanyl, trafficking—are still out there. Small businesses aren’t the enemy. Let’s focus on what actually protects Americans.

@CKefalas I disagree. I think the administration is certainly going after the dangerous ones, but these small targets are necessary. A small business will think twice about hiring someone illegal. If the illegals no longer have money to pay bills, they will have to self deport.
