"It's really important to pass the Protecting Sensitive Locations Act, It is a bill that basically limits ICE enforcement in places that are important to community and child well-being. So places like schools, hospitals, daycare centers, playgrounds. These are places where people shouldn't be afraid to take their children. We actually did hear many instances of that in our interviews and focus groups, that parents are second-guessing if they should take their sick child to the hospital. Changes to CCDF will end: - Capping family co-payments at 7% of family income - Requiring direct services be provided through grants or contracts - Paying childcare providers in advance for their services - Requiring payment based on enrollment rather than actual attendance

The Child Care and Development Fund (#CCDF) is a federal program providing over $12B in grants to states, territories, and tribes to subsidize child care for low-income working families.

The Trump Administration eliminated rules that make childcare more affordable for poor families, ensure providers are paid on time with consistent paychecks, and ensure the health and safety of children.
