NEXT WEEK award-winning artist Kayla E. will lead two events focused on her experimental graphic memoir, "Precious Rubbish." Through a hands-on workshop on March 12, participants will explore the technical craft of comic creation and visual storytelling.

Her visit will conclude with a presentation on March 13 on her latest book, examining how mid-century comic aesthetics can subvert traditional narratives to process complex trauma, identity and survival, offering a unique perspective on the power of graphic medicine.
