Emmanuel Acho made some wild claims about Browns head coach Todd Monken. Clearly, Acho is VERY out of touch with the situation in Cleveland. "Since Monken arrived in Cleveland, there's been all this conversation about 'Deshaun's our guy. A lot of faith in Deshaun. Deshaun's turned the corner. Deshaun looks really good.' Fact of the matter is, Deshaun Watson is going to put every fan in the worst possible situation when you still feel like you have hope. Realistically speaking, is Deshaun going to get back to 4,800 passing yards, 30 touchdown Deshaun Watson? Todd Monken is making it worse, but Todd Monken is describing Deshaun Watson as though we're going to see it again. What if we don't? He's putting way too much pressure on Deshaun Watson." Two major issues here. One, the Cleveland media are the ones saying those things and hyping up Deshaun Watson (just one year after maximizing their 'swing-and-a-miss' headlines). Two, how can anyone put 'too much' pressure on a player making more guaranteed money than anyone in history, a guy the team traded three first-round picks to acquire? Performance SHOULD be expected.

If Deshaun Watson is named the starter, Tony Grossi suggested that Dillon Gabriel would be the better guy for QB2 than Shedeur Sanders. "Gabriel’s a guy who’ll just keep quiet, he’ll study, he’ll stay up on the game plan. He’ll support the starter in any way he can. He’ll run the scout team, and if needed, he’ll play. That’s what you want out of a backup quarterback." Grossi said that Shedeur’s shadow is too large to be a backup QB.
