Say what you want, but I like Matt Festa. He’s a veteran who’s not going to get rattled out there on the mound. The kind of guy who will serve up a three-run jack, shake it off, and come right back with a 93 MPH middle-middle to the next hitter. No nerves. Just consistency.

@andrade21 zero to do with hoskins - RH v LH hitters. u aren’t going to take at bats from Angel. i don’t see a spot for this year - unless there is an august injury.

Ralphy Velazquez has a real shot of making it to CLE late this year. It will all depend on if they get him LF reps and/or Hoskins struggles. Slashed .317/.414/.566 with 13%BB and 18%K in a pitchers' league at age 20. Let's see how he does in a hitters' league. Turns 21 next wk.

Why’s he more likely to come out of it? Homer take. Also, why is it a slump? He can’t even get his bat around to hit the ball hard. It’s not like he’s unlucky or not seeing the ball. He has nothing left in his swing. That’s not a slump.

Trading Tugboat is an interesting gamble by the Guardians. I expect two things in play….. they probably view him as a reliever long term and he was likely gonna need to be added to the 40 man by the end of the season.

Bummed about losing Tugboat. He will be really good. I am glad they cut the bait on Bo. I love the kid but he just was not producing. I kinda just assumed the org was “stuck” & would ride it out. Kuddos to them for making a move. Hopefully this is a step toward “win now” mode.

DeLauter-Bazzana-Messick-Aleman is already the best rookie class this franchise has ever had and we could still see Ingle and Ralphy by year’s end

I don’t know why it’s one or the other. Nobody is bidding a 1, mcshay is out to lunch. So if it’s a 2 or 3 u still can take a QB in the 1st next year if needed
