Curious what capital they have to make trades? The capital from this draft is spent. They already traded away the 5th round pick next year. Assuming the Bears maintain their winning ways as a playoff team, they will be picking in the bottom of rounds, so if they go up in a tiebreak situation with another team trying to trade for same player, their pick won’t be as strong in the same round. And they aren’t dealing Bagent as some fans speculated. I just don’t see where they get the capital.

Today is of course the final day for this 2026 draft process. Many of us want to see the #Bears address their needs along their DL. That being said, as I’ve maintained, I believe they’re focusing on getting help through the trade market. Whoever that help is remains to be seen.

When Arlington Park was still around they were paying property taxes of between 2.8 to 3.2M. The Bears now are paying 3.6M for a vacant piece of land. The county and school districts want to gouge them way more. That’s just not right. Not only will a Stadium be in the property but there will also be several other buildings/business paying taxes. It will be a cash cow for the county/school districts when the whole project is complete. The idiot politicians never see the big picture they look at just a small part. And we wonder why this state is so screwed up

If the Bears were to attempt to trade for Crosby ( my feeling is the don’t) they need to find out why he failed in Baltimore then of course he gets a medical here should a trade be made. The return can and won’t be 2 firsts as there is an obvious risk now. And last, they would be taking on a 30 M salary

@ytd33_y Soooo.... by that logic Mahomes should be making $300m a year right? You can overpay any player and reduce your chances of building a complete team. That is the point of the salary cap.

The Raiders have not overpaid anyone. News flash, you can’t overpay someone who is the best in their position…you just lose them to another team smart enough to know what to do 🤷🏿‍♂️
