It really is pitiful how eu people get on and are like but if you don't get our bases bs. You think the myriad of other nations wouldn't be happy to have a us base and be closer more strategic for us interest. It's 2026 we are not sweating war with the Soviet union. China Control of oil flow Control of resources Eu bases are limited benefit to all three. And worse the few relevant Diego Garcia the eu is actively trying to pass to Chinese control.

Fine. We’ll fuck off. You’re on your own. And when you suddenly realise you need European bases for your world domination we’ll also tell you to fuck off. Sick of this bollocks.

I'm starting to think there is 2 tracks. 1 aliens or whatever 3rd party threat realized officially around ww2. 2 huge leap to another tech tree also around b ww2. If that 3rd party showed sign of being hostile but distant or limited volume and there tech was different maybe better maybe not the threat would be kept secret to prevent panic the tech secret to keep some strategic surprise. Add we are a divided world sharing tech before we fully exploit to secure advantage with rest would be a major seperate risk.

If you're keeping score at home: 1) Presidents & their families CAN insider trade & make hundreds of millions. 2) Congress & their families CAN insider trade & make hundreds of millions. 3) Soldiers & common people CANNOT insider trade or you'll be prosecuted. 4) MORE US SOLDIERS HAVE NOW BEEN ARRESTED FOR INSIDER TRADING THAN KNOWN PEDOPHILES THAT PAID TO R$PE KIDS ON EPSTEIN ISLAND. Does anyone still think government is FOR YOU? Or that more government, higher taxes, more regulation is good, or either party cares at all about you??? I love my country. I do not trust the government.

This involved a U.S. soldier who allegedly took advantage of his position to profit off of a righteous military operation. Thank you to our agents, Intel teams, and great partners @TheJusticeDept who protected our war fighters. Investigation ongoing.

You think that is disruptive wait when someone opens the old dusty star wars file labeled rods from god and realizes starship carries 100tn at cost ratios more survivable near undefendable vs b21 b2. Then legal realizes if it's not space based it's not against space treaty nice loophole made for ballistic missiles. The US has the kit to return hegemony mil econ indus all we have lacked is political will. Trump is just 1st version of that will. The US rejected modern liberalism mental disease of controlled decline flipped the chess table and is resetting the game stacked.

I get eu modern liberalism mind can't comprehend but the US has chosen against controlled decline of modern liberalism. The US will not go quietly into the night. The US is on and going to a wartime footing we will burn the world to regain industrial economic hegemony while building a military strong enough to deter or defeat China or any other. We were losing so we did what great powers can we flipped the whole table changed the rules and reset the pieces. Get on board get out of the way or get fkd is eu choice.

For the record, the Iowa-class battleships of WW2 took around around 2 years and 8 months to build, from keel to commission - and that was under wartime or near-wartime conditions, with full industrial mobilisation. Modern warships are far more technologically complex - the Arleigh Burkes took about 4-6 years to build. Trump is beyond delusional if he thinks he's getting his new battleships by 2028.

One of the best Trump-class battleship articles I’ve read. And yes, I’m thrilled the background info I reported months ago—that they’re exploring nuclear propulsion for hulls 4–10—has now been confirmed. (Even if it’s still a long shot) A must read 👇

And that deal gave us what controlled us decline, while China was turned into a peer rival by their taking over our entire industrial base, all while the US is going broke playing world police and spilling us blood in the process. Time for negotiation. The US is returning to economic industrial military hedgimon. If eu wishes to go quietly into the night under modern liberalism self hating self destructive system the US is not obligated to follow.

The deal the world made with the U.S. was simple: You police the waterways, refrain from being an a$$hole, and the world will perpetually buy your debt. You also get cheap shit made for pennies on the dollar by third and second world slaves. The only reason the US hasn't plunged into depressions is because of foreign investors propping up equities and US treasuries. Now you can’t fulfill your end of the deal, but still want the world to buy your debt, fund your deficits, and send you cheap sh!t. Nope.

"America and the free world deserve allies who are capable, who are loyal, and who understand that being an ally is not a one way street." "We barely use the Strait of Hormuz as a country. Our energy doesn't flow through there, and we have plenty of energy." "We are not counting on Europe, but they need the Strait of Hormuz much more than we do, and might want to start doing less talking and having less fancy conferences in Europe and getting a boat."

China cannot open the straight with the us locki n g it down. Iran can claim such but can't open just close. The US could open but is making bank increasing supply and locking market share so not very motivated. Eu has no sack China no ability so no switch is going happen. Just increased pressure on Iran to bow from China who is not going risk their economy for Iran's jihad. The petrodollar is in dollars because us secured flow of oil. Trump is playing rough not opening because he knows nobody can replace or open straight and we have offset impact because we have tapped the US resources. Politically is only way us can lose this Mexican stand off.

The petrodollar is the foundation of American power. Since the 1970s, oil has only been sold in dollars, forcing every nation on earth to hold dollars, fund our debt, and keep us dominant. Iran just systematically dismantled that. They closed Hormuz, cutting 25% of global oil supply. Spiked oil to $118 a barrel. Then forced ships to pay in Chinese yuan for passage. Now Gulf states are dumping US treasuries, bond markets are selling off, inflation is surging, Deutsche Bank is warning of a petroyuan era. Every link in the petrodollar chain is snapping at once. When it's gone, your borrowing costs explode, your savings erode, and America loses the financial weapon that has kept us dominant for 50 years. China wins without ever pulling a trigger.

Use across multiple systems is a big deal. From what I understand the main three impediments is salt water resistance easily fixed, software easily updated, chemical mix land missiles are bad for ships metal bad in longterm peacetime irrelevant in the shorterm of war. MLS use on navy ships should be another.

China is the real threat. Hard for many to understand but for the few that get it everything makes sense. It also explains why the strait being closed is not a negative but a positive if you are a US first prospective and not a world leader like most of the elites that are the bulk of the establishment power in the US. Deterring war with China while setting the US back to long term overmatch deterrence is the most thankless while most important job ever. Trump will be sh*t on but in some alternate reality were the US stayed with the establishment class path and paid extreme cost in blood will fully understand.

And the push to 1.5trill mil budget with calls to all car other domestic industry left on how they can contribute. Not well publicized laughed at when so but a big deal in the real. That is the secret sauce inventory is important but daily rate of production potential is more important in peer war. The US has inventory to truck near anyone but China our industry is neither ready nor thinking of nor prepared nor numerous enough. Fixing at least part of that is a big fkn deal not spoken.

Good news, if accurate, it tells us how much--at a minimum--we need to build our inventory up to if we are serious about a conflict with the PRC. Earlier this month I provided my entering argument of that number: 15X pre-conflict inventory. With each passing bit of info that bleeds into open source, that swag looks better and better. Ref. Not as crazy as it sounds. From the mob to the stans and everywhere inbetween when in a power struggle both sides even your devote enemies will kick tips to even hated enemies to eliminate competition or gain power. Maybe not officially or admitted but it happens. Human nature zealots are no less immune.

When power, communications, transit infrastructure, money is limited and hunters orbiting overhead for opportunity holding regime control across their empire will become very difficult. Once the first group jumps the flame will spread quickly vying for regional control for the after negotiations.

Not necessarily power plants bridges threatens regime internal control. That is the only real fear of the regime its retention of power economics, death of mil or civ is all recoverable as long as they hold power. The straight being closed is the shiny marble everyone is focused on but its not that negative for the US and it puts huge pressure on China to pressure Iran, while EU/Asia pressure to buy American energy. If it gets to rough for the US econ the case has been made by their hostility for the US to just tariff export energy to control drop US prices while screwing EU/Asia. As wild as it is the straight closure is actually beneficial to US reshoring and industry by the massive negative effects on the competition mainly China.
