My lovely great-uncle died this week aged 93. After weeks in bed barely speaking, he suddenly sat up and said to his wife and daughters “Well, I’ve had such a bloody lovely life. I love you all so much.” Then lay back down and never spoke again. Quite the mic drop.

One of the most significant lessons I’ve learnt in the last month is that you should spend every last penny of your money before you die, shed your possessions…or donate it all to charity. The ugliness of people grasping for the wealth you’ve accumulated is horrific.

We use Geo-Location software to determine where a player is accessing our website or app. If the player’s IP address is not recognised as being in the UK or the Isle of Man, then access to our website and the app will be denied. This can also often happen depending on the Wi-Fi provider, as the connection can sometimes be rerouted outside the UK, which leads the Geo-location software to believe you are outside the UK. Typically, restarting your device, your Wi-Fi router, or trying a different connection, such as 5G, will resolve this. ^Jas

I brought my Mum home today. I carried her with ease as she must have carried me when I arrived in this world. As we prepare to lay her to rest on Saturday I am also preparing for this being the last few days she’ll be with me in some physical form. (1/2)
