House Speaker Mike Johnson delivered a forceful defense of America’s founding principles during the “Rededicate 250” prayer gathering on the National Mall ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
Johnson warned that “sinister ideologies” are trying to rewrite the American story through “the lens of our sins,” attacking the country’s history, heroes, and moral identity.
“We reject that. We rebuke it,” he said.
