👆There is no RV collapse in diastole. The free wall is moving inwards during systole. Of course, it's not easy to appreciate if you cannot pause the image/no EKG/no valves to tell you the cardiac cycle phase. Intent of the quiz was to identify presence of effusion + know that short axis view can be obtained from the subxiphoid window. 👇example of RV collapse in diastole that we recently saw (note open mitral valve [white arrow] = diastole)
