Commander 17th Sustainment Brigade

Prepared by Army, Delivered by Air Force, Received by Navy. 176 Air Dispatch Squadron supported a Live Maritime Aerial Delivery Air Drop to HMAS Warramunga. The three services are working together to enhance a logistics capability to replenish Royal Australian Navy ships at sea.

176 Air Dispatch Squadron from 9th Force Support Battalion had the privilege to train with The Republic of Singapore Air Force and @AusAirForce during @TheRSAF C-130 Training Detachment. Fostering cooperation and strengthening ties.

Today we marked the Royal Australian Corps of Transports 50th anniversary at the home of transport in Puckapunyal. RACT’s achievements and commitment to excellence is built upon the foundation of the Defence values.

Today members from Headquarters 17th Sustainment Brigade gathered ahead of the Brigade’s 17th birthday. Raised on 20 May 2006, the formation has a rich history that reaches back to the Vietnam War. Thank you to all our former and current members for your dedicated service.

I had the pleasure of seeing members from 2nd Force Support Battalion at work in Tasmania. Showcasing the unit’s vehicle capabilities and giving a glimpse into the exciting world of the battalion at Agfest. Great job team promoting the incredible opportunities and diverse jobs.

#YourADF brought the grunt while assisting the clean-up of a Caravan Park on the Hawkesbury River. One soldier saved an Australian National Flag🇦🇺 from the flood water & moved it to a safe place to keep it protected against future damage from extreme weather. #AusArmy #NSWFloods
