After watching that P Diddy documentary, I can conclude that the music business is ruthless. People will do anything to stay on top.

Olorato Mongale, 30, lifeless body was found by community members in Lombardy West, Johannesburg, on 25 May 2025. She had been last seen just two hours earlier, around 3pm, when she left her home in Athol with a man she had planned to go on a date with. When concerned friends were unable to reach Olorato, they used the “Find My Phone” feature, which led them to a site in Bramley, where her phone and other belongings had been dumped.
Olorato’s family opened a missing persons case at Bramley Police Station around 6pm. However, the police only initiated the search shortly after midnight, citing a lack of available vehicles, as the station had only one functioning vehicle that day.
Meanwhile, community members had already found a body in Lombardy West at 5pm and had alerted Sandringham Police Station. Shockingly, only around 2am, Bramley police were informed that the lifeless body of a woman was found. This was not only a horrific experience for the family - who were still searching for Olorato - but it also raises serious concerns about communication lapses between the Sandringham and Bramley Police Stations, which are in close proximity to each other. Olorato’s family was only able to identify her body the following morning. Despite these setbacks, the investigating detective has been commended by the family for his dedication, consistent communication, and active pursuit of leads in the case.
A manhunt is currently underway for a suspect known only as ‘John’, who is believed to be involved in Olorato’s murder. He was last seen driving a white VW Polo bearing a cloned number plate ‘LT 57 JG GP’, which is registered to a Toyota Hilux. We are abaolutely heartbroken over the loss of such a beautiful soul. Another sister was murdered. How many more until we declare GBV and femicide a National Disaster? #WomenForChange #SayHerName #UnburyTheTruth #EnoughSaid #AmINext
