ANONYMOUS INBOX: I recently met my boyfriend's parents for the first time, and overall it went really well. They were nice BUT there was one thing that caught me completely off guard. My boyfriend is 30 years old, and throughout the entire visit he referred to his mom as "Mommy." Not once or twice as a joke or being sarcastic. It was constant. At first I thought maybe I misheard him, but by the end of the night I realized this is just what he calls her all the time. For some reason it gave me the ick a little bit. I know different families have different dynamics, and maybe this is completely normal and I'm the weird one for finding it strange. But now I'm wondering if this is a sign that he's overly attached to his mom or if I'm reading way too much into it. Is this a red flag? Is it something I should bring up to him, or should I just accept that this is what he calls his mother and move on with my life?

Dollywood started their new drink system where you buy a soda and have to scan a QR code to get the drink You are only allowed to fill the drink for a set amount of time, depending on the ounces you purchased America is not a high trust society, so now refills are not allowed and every ounce accounted for. Multiple places throughout America are implementing this same QR system The soda machine cuts you off when you’ve reached your limit We shouldn’t have to live like this
