Our work, announced earlier this week, on Unstoppable Wallets is out! We construct a protocol for threshold ECDSA that is efficient enough to run on-chain in 1 tx per party and low gas fees. We implement it and show how to build two sample apps on @SecretNetwork: cross chain multisig vault + policy engine, and a wallet exchange (sell your keys, not your coins). We believe many other use cases for this exist, and that it can form the basis for cross-chain account abstraction. We also achieve robustness and fairness, even for a dishonest majority of signers (assuming a blockchain)! Joint work wirh @AvishaiY @alex_pentland and lots of help from the legendary @assafmo @Cashmaney3

Hot take: Identifiable abort (compared to security with abort) is less interesting if you are running your MPC protocol inside of a TEE. Reason: aborts are unlikely because the TEEs protect you. If there is ever an abort - you just figured out a much bigger problem (TEE vul)!
