Funds sent via the wrong network/coin/token need to be manually recovered from the blockchain. This fee is paid to developers who take time in their off-hours to recover.

Why are “crypto payment gateways” such incompetent thieves, @CoinPaymentsNET? Watching token Transfers is among the first things you learn when interacting w/ blockchain events. Charging 8% to “recover” SETTLED funds, just because they originated from a multisig, is extortion.
