Maybe I'd think about starting to care about the so called "climate crisis" if the gov'ts of the world released their current and past geo-engineering programs. They've been working on this since the 1960s so something tells me it's very advanced by now.

@mario4thenorth I'd wager that almost all riding nomination votes have massive irregularities designed to get the preferred candidate in. Another example of the excessive power parties have in the cdn system

The Liberal Party spent 10 years importing voters. Today those voters showed up. And voted against the Liberal they were supposed to support. Federal MP Nate Erskine-Smith, endorsed by Mark Carney himself, just lost a provincial nomination race in Scarborough. He lost to Ahsanul Hafiz. A Bangladeshi-born business owner who owns 30 Domino’s Pizza franchises. Today in Scarborough Southwest: Sample ballots were handed out entirely in Bengali. The Ontario Liberal Party allows temporary residents to vote in nominations. Nate knocked on doors of his own “members” people who had no idea they’d signed up. The Globe and Mail reported it themselves. Nate cried irregularities. Hafiz said: “The hallways were full of people wearing my badges. That’s the clear evidence of who won.” The Liberals flooded ridings with new Canadians. Those new Canadians just picked their own guy. The man who built the machine is now complaining about the machine. Welcome to the Canada you created. 🇨🇦

@drterrysimpson Yeah, so there's a different between stopping surgeons from spitting in a wound while working and trying to stop a virus with a mask. The mask works really well for the former and really bad for the latter.

Interesting how masks suddenly become useless when discussing public health, yet somehow every surgeon, cath lab team, and procedural cardiologist still masks up when they are standing over an open body or threading wires into a coronary artery. Medicine understands something the internet often forgets: protection is rarely absolute. Seatbelts do not prevent every death. Gloves do not prevent every infection. Masks are another layer, not magic. WE do know that reduction of viral load decreases morbidity of disease. Masks reduce fomites. To this day I wear a mask in every healthcare facility I enter - I want to minimize risk. I doubt this cardiologist wants me to operate on his patient without a mask
Joseph Marine@DrJMarine

“Long before the pandemic, gold-standard randomized controlled trials had repeatedly shown that masks offered little or no meaningful protection against the spread of respiratory viruses. When COVID-19 arrived, fresh trials were launched in hopes of settling the question. Instead, they largely confirmed the earlier findings: Masks produced, at best, marginal reductions in SARS-CoV-2 transmission, if any. Two major Cochrane reviews (in 2020 and in 2023), the gold standard for rigorous medical evidence synthesis, reached the same conclusion. Neither found convincing evidence that surgical masks meaningfully slowed the spread of respiratory viruses in real-world settings.”

Anthony Fauci spent his life walking into epidemics, while other people sat safely on the sidelines criticizing medicine from television studios and podcasts. HIV. Ebola. SARS. COVID. Was he always right? Of course not. Science is not theology. Science corrects itself in real time, while under pressure from incomplete data, politics, fear, and millions of lives hanging in the balance. But the idea that Fauci was some comic-book villain instead of a physician-scientist trying to navigate one of the most chaotic public health crises in modern history is absurd. History usually remembers the people who showed up during the plague more kindly than the people who sold outrage from a safe distance. For me, Fauci is a damn hero

You people are missing the point. We don't need the Americans. Carney has signed one of the largest trade deals ever in the world with the brics countries. We're diversifying trade away from Americans that will cause shortage of Canadian goods and allow us to increase our prices. Moreover, we should cut our oil deliveries United States and we should cut off all our electricity and hydro to the United States. Enough is enough
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor

"Canada is in a very weak position within CUSMA, whether we want to admit it or not. Mexico is likely to secure a deal with the U.S. first, again, leaving Canada to return to the table, make concessions it initially resisted—including granting greater access to its dairy market."

@HQNewsNow @MichaelBennet Yeah, so the flu vaccines's efficacy is low so it is a moot point that the kids who unfortunately died were unvaccinated. They would have died anyway.

🧾 Pierre Poilievre spent two years screaming about grocery prices. Yesterday, Parliament voted on Bill C-226, a national framework to improve food price transparency, and force grocery chains to show Canadians where the money actually goes. Poilievre voted NO. Every Conservative voted NO. 📊 Final tally: 168 Yea. 150 Nay. The bill passed, no thanks to the party that built its entire brand on "axe the tax" and grocery affordability. 🎭 This is the pattern. The grievance is the product. Solving the problem would end the grift. When there's an actual mechanism to hold grocers accountable, Conservatives fold for the industry every single time. Poilievre doesn't want lower food prices. He wants the issue. #cdnpoli x.com/i/status/20470…

@RickAnderson I'm fatigued by the economic/ collective amnesia of Canadians... remember how, under the Harper's govt's last year in 2014, the US media were asking if Canada had "stolen" the Anerican Dream, and now, 11 years later, the poorest US state is richer than the richest Cdn province

I am truly fatigued by this negative line of dreck about Canada. Yes, we have challenges, more at the moment than usual. But this is a tremendous country, and yes we have a Canadian Dream, the belief that people can come together to build better lives, and in doing so build a better country: fair, decent, and diverse.

@Garnet_2203 What's sinister is how hard Carney is working to get a majority. He already has an effective "majority" with no issues getting his legislation passed, but I still wooing conservatives to try and get his majority. What are his hidden plans once he had a majority???

There’s something really sinister about the Conservative Party of Canada right now. When a staunch conservative like John Tory and even voices from the NDP side are more willing to align with the Liberal Party of Canada, you have to ask: what’s going on inside that party? This isn’t normal political disagreement anymore. Something has shifted. Then you’ve got a Conservative MP, like Jamil Jivani walking around Canada sounding more like JD Vance and Charlie Kirk, same rhetoric, same framing, same playbook. That’s not a coincidence. So Canadians should be asking: How much political influence, or even financial influence does the United States actually have on the Conservative Party of Canada? Because right now, this doesn’t feel organic to Canada. And people should be paying attention.

If you believe that the government can control weather (on a large scale), then your belief system is indistinguishable from that of climate alarmists. There is no difference between the two. If the government wanted to poison us, they would do it through our food supply, not injecting toxins into the air that said evil people themselves also have to breathe. Your IQ is 85, at best.
David Adams@DavidAd65794047

@ChrisMartzWX If you have to make a post defending yourself this much, then you are definitely trying to provide cover for the fact thay our weather is being controlled and we are being poisoned. No amount of "data" will convince us to believe otherwise when we can see it with our own eyes.

Twitter is being swarmed by Alberta separatists so I want to assure my fellow Canadians that these clowns comprise a small minority. I went hard to collect over 700 Forever Canadian signatures. 456,000 signed in 3 months. Separatists got 177,000 in 3 months. We’ve got this.

Trump: I have much more power in my second term. I said I'm going to sign an executive order to ensure that the second Saturday in December, is preserved exclusively, nobody is playing football. Not Ohio state against Notre Dame. Not LSU against Alabama. Nobody is going to play football for four hours during that very special time of the year in December. It's preserved forever for the army-navy game. If you don't want to watch football, you don't have to. But if you want to watch football, you are only watching one game. You are not watching 19 different games.

Three things that are somehow controversial that absolutely should not be: 1. You do not need to eat organic produce to be healthier, especially when plenty of people are struggling to eat even a single vegetable in a day. 2.Vaccines are preventive medicine, period. 3.RFK Jr. is an abomination to public health. Dead serious. His rhetoric is dangerous, and people are getting hurt.
