Being ‘passionate’ doesn’t give you an excuse to express your racism. If and when Doug Ford is ready to personally apologize to the people of Nishnawbe Aski Nation, we will consider it. If the Premier is sincere with his apology, he needs to show it, not just say it.

There is lots happening in First Nations like states of emergencies. The government expects economic reconciliation without properly addressing longstanding concerns from First Nations.

Today is a somber reminder of what happens when we let hate fester.  3 years ago, we lost four members of the Afzaal family to a violent terrorist attack that left the Muslim community in London and across our province shaken.  Over the past year, we have heard from Muslim neighbours, friends and family that they are not feeling safe, that this kind of hate is rising.  We all need to see more action to stamp it, and all forms of hate, out for good. #ONPoli
