Coaching News: Mercer HC Ryan Danehy is set to become @OhioStateMLAX OC, multiple sources tell @Inside_Lacrosse. Few guys have a more interesting résumé than Danehy, whose prior stops include Bucknell, Penn (where he coached w/ OSU HC Nick Myers' brother Pat) & TTUN (Michigan).

Going back to Golden State in 2021/2022, every champ was favored by odds makers to win the following year immediately after the championship. That is, until the @nyknicks in 25/26. Fine by me. I’m sure Rick Brunson prefers it this way too.

@ohnohedidnt24 Not to nitpick but that clip is a little over 4 mins long and Brown talks about officiating explicitly for maybe 2 mins of it. Speaking up helps to keep his guys focused on their play. Simple as that.

People complaining that Wemby and the Spurs are "dirty" have it backward. The NBA got soft and everyone hated it. Bring back the physical era and let these guys rough each other up. It’s exactly what the league needs.

@emacSNY Unbelievable Brown needed the challenge to get that call. First 2 games, every commentator that talks about Spurs youth or road to championship should be required to mention the foul welfare they received.

Challenge on OG 3 was the turning point

If you exclude the Hack-a-Mitch fouls, and the 3 pt foul against OG that Mike Brown had to challenge to get, the Spurs took 27 free throws last night to @nyknicks 12. Love these Knicks. Staying focused despite things that would throw off most teams.
