VANCE ON IRAN TALKS: THINK WE ARE MAKING PROGRESS

I am the white leftist in question. I have a sympathy and tolerance for religion and its discipline and rituals, but if you show up to a strategy meeting and attempt to speak on behalf of Mother Earth or Buddha like some superstitious ventriloquist I will kick you out myself.

North Korea has changed its constitution to mandate an automatic nuclear strike if Kim Jong-un is killed or incapacitated by a foreign attack. Under the revised law, if command over North Korea’s nuclear forces is threatened, the military must launch a retaliatory nuclear strike immediately. Source: The Telegraph

⭕️ BREAKING: CENTCOM says three U.S. warships transiting the Strait of Hormuz came under Iranian missile, drone, and small boat attacks Thursday. The U.S. says no vessels were hit and that it responded by striking Iranian military sites linked to the attack. 📌 The full statement: “U.S. forces intercepted unprovoked Iranian attacks and responded with self-defense strikes as U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers transited the Strait of Hormuz to the Gulf of Oman, May 7. Iranian forces launched multiple missiles, drones and small boats as USS Truxtun (DDG 103), USS Rafael Peralta (DDG 115), and USS Mason (DDG 87) transited the international sea passage. No U.S. assets were struck. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) eliminated inbound threats and targeted Iranian military facilities responsible for attacking U.S. forces including missile and drone launch sites; command and control locations; and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance nodes. CENTCOM does not seek escalation but remains positioned and ready to protect American forces.”
