College sports must implode. Players have been manipulated with little regard for their futures. But revenue sharing is not the answer. Academic institutions are fiscally strapped & facing huge deficits as are most athletic dept. Athletics must align with the mission of the U.

@WOODHOOPS Played in CRC for John Mosco/Archbishop Wood. Philly tough, high IQ, plays with intensity & purpose. Congrats Collin!

TJ McConnell was last night’s MVP. His energy & IQ set the tone. He deserves more minutes. Remember him playing for @ron_everhart at Duquesne- high energy, well coached, fast paced teams. He & the incomparable Bill Clark were my 2 favorites.

The emotion,honesty,toughness & successes of @dawnstaley life makes Uncommon Favor a must read. Coach Chaney loved Dawn, was so proud & would talk about her often always with glowing praise.He’d call her “Baby Chaney” followed by his bellowing laugh. Dawn,her mom &Coach-3 legends

Huge get for @SJP_BB @chrisclark215 will star as their head coach. Played on Speedy’s great Prep teams. Chris had the privilege to play for Speedy & then Coach Chaney & Fran Dunphy. Congratulations to Chris & his family.

CRC alum Kendrick Nunn (Simeon) was named MVP of the Euroleague. Kendrick plays for Pananthinaikos. Played the previous 4 years in the NBA. @kendricknunn4

Happy heavenly birthday to the greatest coach ever- John Chaney. Still influencing the game nearly 19 years after his retirement. I miss our long long talks. Will always love you.
