Hi everyone! As an orgless team, it's financially difficult for us to be able to practice and compete full-time and still attend the important local LANs required to accumulate VRS points. We've started a gofundme to ask the community for help to raise funds that will be used for travel expenses and bootcamps to help sustain this project. Thank you very much to anyone that chooses to support us. ❤️🙏🫶 gofund.me/9dd586021

Devastating. Invested almost two years into this project, and for it to end this way is heartbreaking. That's esports. I wanted to rebuild my way but management had different ideas. I'm not finished with competing, especially when I was so close to being back at the top.

Recently, we've placed @peterjarguz and @phzycs on the bench. From Austin to Shanghai and beyond — thank you both for your hard work with this organization. 💙❤️

2024 was an interesting year for me. First 3 months I wasn't sure where my life was heading. After my contract with EG ended in January I wasn't sure where to find work or if I even wanted to keep working in esports. I felt lost and noticed symptoms of depression arising and wasn't sure how to recover. I knew I needed something to get me active and give me purpose so I picked up photography as a hobby to get me out of the house and hopefully prevent me from spiraling. It worked. I loved it immidiately. As always, @fragadelphia was hosting events and I wanted to practice so I offered to shoot for them and they graciously accepted. Since that first event, the Frag team has brought me on board as a staff member and even assisted with travel and housing accomadations. This was a win-win-win since it gave me a perfect opportunity to practice and build my portfolio, a great way to give back to the community, and Frag got a free photographer and extra set of hands at events. Through good vibes, hard work, and quality output, I've now become a media lead and I'm excited to be even more involved in the future of Frag. Within 4 months of volunteering my portfolio grew to a point where I was able to leverage it for paid work. Without the opportunity I got from Fragadelphia this wouldn't have been possible so quickly. On top of the occasional freelance gig, I now contract for a production company who sends me out to events for photo coverage and the owner of the company likely wouldn't have given me the time of day without the portfolio I'd built by working with Fragadelphia. Just goes to show that with a little bit of skill and focusing your energy and time into the right places, it's possible to get very quick, positive outcomes. On the mental health side of things, I've been able to get a profound level of fulfillment from volunteering at Frag. Low level Counter Strike is already under-documented. Most of our events don't meet the requirements to make it on to HLTV so photographing them feels like a way to legitamize the work we're doing in North America. Capturing the growth of the players and our community through my lens feels like I'm contributing to the building of stories and the creation of history. It's extremely rewarding being able to capture moments that likely would've otherwise been mostly forgotten. Players having professional grade photos taken also feel more validated in their competitive pursuit. I've already heard from some players that having these photos helped with explaining to their parents why they love Counter Strike so much. Being able to show them my albums made it much easier to explain and easier for them to understand what it is about these events that's so special, why they're worth practicing for, and why they want to keep coming back. With their parents being more onboard, they feel a much greater sense of support while following their passion. The sense of fulfillment I get hearing these types of stories is impossible to describe. It makes me very happy to be able to continue giving back in new ways to the community that gave me so much these last 10 years. 2024 was an amazing year for me but shifting careers is not easy and took a lot of work. Only being 9 months in means it still hasn't been the most fiscally responsible move, but for my mental health it was definitely the right one. I plan on continuing to improve and grow so that I can reach a point where it can be something more financially viable for me. I'm extremely excited for 2025 and to continue following this path I've created for myself. Massive thank you to the Fragadelphia crew for accepting me and giving me the opportunity to help host and grow their events. Shout out to @thestevesquatcH @NVS_frag @TheBonamant @sphaxa @OriginalChezpuf @iwGray @tylerrefsnider_ and all the volunteers who've helped us throughout the year.
