We live in the lowest region of the atmosphere called the troposphere. This is where we find our weather like rain, snow, etc. We are able to enjoy life down here thanks to the ozone layer, located in the stratosphere, protecting us from the sun’s harmful ultra-violet radiation.

My light uses a bunch of energy so I make sure to run it off when I am not using it. @franklinlorax #apesenergy

Turning off the water when your not using it can help to conserve energy and it even helps reduce carbon pollution which is a great way to benefit the environment! #apesenergy @franklinlorax

Chargers like our chrome book charger can use up a ton of energy, even when unused. This is why I make sure to always unplug mine after I’m done, so I can conserve energy and not waste any. #apesenergy @franklinlorax

This type of plant requires good permeability, more rocks and other materials to let water pass through better, so it can have its roots hydrated. Due to the lack of rocks in the pot though, it was not able to thrive. #apesland @franklinlorax

These rocks in my backyard have high porosity and permeability due to their size. However, the water retention is low allowing water to flow right through. #apesland @franklinlorax

My family and I use these motorized vehicles to get around the city. This has way more of a negative impact on our ecological footprint than if we were to use bikes or walked instead. If everyone lived like I did, we’d need about 4 whole Earths! #apespopulation @franklinlorax

Dogs are K-Strategist animals which means the produce more offspring than the others like R-Strategist. Them being a K means that they also have more time to nurture and take care of their offspring. #apesecology @franklinlorax
