@tonynicholson52 Very good points. Max Miller is still the king but the celebrity culture inhibits growth in nearly all things.

I was thinking about the progression of comedy. We went from Max Miller to Eric & Ernie and Doddy, then Larry Grayson and Victoria Wood. How have we arrived at celebs famous for very little vomiting and retching as they try to eat a kangaroo's private parts. Well done everybody!

@MusicAndBooks9 I had something similar a couple of years ago and found it to be a very weird and disorientating experience. Rest is all you can do, but you are allowed to do nothing once in a while, you know. I hope it gets back to normal very soon.
