Meet "Milano Pizza" in Hounslow! They are an A-rated Skilled Worker visa sponsor. The only problem is that this shop has not existed since 2024, there is no trace of it on Companies House, it never existed on there (would show as dissolved if it did). The pizza shop that replaces it, "G&AK LTD" (trading as Just Pizza), is ALSO on the visa sponsor list (A-rated of course). Why are there two sponsors at the same address, one of which physically doesn't exist anymore and the other one being an insolvent 2-person company. Not sure what "skills" they are sponsoring?

Labour is plotting to force users of Netflix and other streaming services to pay the BBC tax. This is because increasing numbers of people are refusing to pay the tax & the BBC claims to be short of cash. There are now 23.3m TV licences in force, a fall of 539,000 over the past year. "You could add a charge onto people’s streaming subscriptions that would be paid by the consumer," said Labour Minister Lisa Nandy. The BBC tax is a totally outdated mechanism that should be scrapped now. People should pay for the TV that they want to watch and not be forced to pay for stuff they don't watch.

@TinkerB1985 Exactly! She was incredibly protective of gay MPs. Her brief was that gay marriage was wrong, not that being gay was wrong. Huge difference. Iain Dale (a long time friend) understood and respected her beliefs.

@CSG1973 I embed the pill in pate and then play a game where he has to guess which hand it’s in. By the time I’ve teased him by swapping hands a bit, he’s not too fussy about inspecting what’s in the pate!

@Northernlady678 Oh no, they are so soft (literally bred for centuries to sleep in babies cots in winter), but also ferocious hunters. They have only been pets since the 60s and are being bred by bad people.

@CSG1973 I’ve seen TikTok’s of them decimating sofas. I visited a lady with four once, they had dug moon craters in her garden. Very unusual dogs but not aggressive as Malinois can be.

We now have very annoyed Jackdaws in the garden. One of them had stolen a sandwich and another started squabbling with it. First Jackdaw dropped the sandwich and Peasan darted in for the spoils. Much annoyed squawking.

@CSG1973 Last year we had a family of robins in one of our trees and the jackdaws were trying to interfere/eat the chicks. I'm pleased to say that the robins saw them off. It was amazing to watch considering Jackdaws are pretty smart, but Robins are bold.
