CSG National President Hawai’i Governor Josh Green (@DrJoshGreen) launched a yearlong bipartisan policy initiative aimed at improving mental health outcomes through his role as Chair of the Western Governors' Association (@westgov). Over the next year, Health Beyond Healthcare will examine strategies to expand access to care while addressing the broader factors that shape health and well-being.

The Policy Plenary Luncheon examined "Medicaid at a Crossroads: State Strategies for Coverage, Cost, and Workforce in a Changing Federal Landscape." Legislative leaders discussed Medicaid financing, workforce challenges, program sustainability, and access to care from a range of state perspectives. #SLCKY2026
