@threenotes_jp I have always loved animation as an art form, but in America it is seen as only for children. Only childrens stoties get written. Anime also has stories for older audiences
@l_se0m If it was a guy, he wouldn't have removed their heads like that.
Some people are just built to be angry and not accommodating.
Or probably they're protecting their space because they fall in love easily or don't want to hurt their man
@taddy_frog@learning_yohei Most English speaking people I know here in America aren't going to judge your posts. We're lazy with grammar on the internet. If we can understand you, and so far I've understood every translated post from Japan that I've read, you're just fine.
@learning_yohei Either the Japanese people are aware this could happen and are already adding the subject or the AI is doing a good job of adding it in anyways.
@learning_yohei You've made some really great points Yohei, but relax. As an American who is reading the translated posts in English, it's been a week now and I haven't ready any posts from Japan that were confusing to read.
@jdpritchett@luxemiaa High value men will often do these little test to see the reaction.
More than likely this man wasn't being controlling or cheap, he wanted to see if he is wasting his time.
Her reaction seems to indicate he was indeed wasting his time.
I went on a date and ordered a salad and fries.
That was my meal.
The waiter wrote it down and moved on to him.
He asked, “Does the club sandwich come with fries?”
The waiter said yes.
He said, “Great, I’ll have the club.”
Then he looked at the waiter and said, “And you can cancel her fries.”
My fries.
The fries I had specifically ordered for myself.
Canceled without discussion, as if he had full legal authority over my potato decisions.
I just sat there staring at him.
This man had known me for maybe 20 minutes and was already editing my order.
I asked why he did that.
He said, “You can just have some of mine.”
That was not the point.
First of all, I wanted my own fries.
Second, I do not want to negotiate over side dishes with a man I barely know.
And.,......
@fallingstar0111@Mayandeval If it's a word that came from English grasping the meaning is pretty easy. If it came from anywhere else it might not be obvious.
@hanaamurakami Because most of them only see the good parts through media and don't live daily with the countries flaws like they do in their own country where they see it's flaws every day.
@learning_yohei@ShadowXSpades Don't go with a coffee date. Men who do coffee dates are known for putting in low effort so that they can keep multiple girlfriends.
