Start by comparing the cards on turn 6 (Wan Shi Tong X=4) and they're pretty close. Then think about all the other spots where WST's flexibility is better. OTOH Ward 2 is a hell of a keyword on something you really wanna kill on the spot

Putting the literal words "Ancestral Recall" on a card is exciting but we have stiff competition in this slot already. Think this will be miserable to see across the table in limited tho

This feels so weird I was just becoming a young man when Lavonte was drafted. I remember vividly talking with my dad about how we were hoping he would be the next Derrick. Well Lavonte did more than enough to forge his own legacy.

11-3 for 19th place at Paupergeddon. 5th Geddon in a row where I place in top 32 or higher. I have mixed feelings about this recurring x-3 score. The Golden Pigs team went with Elves after rediscovering Lignify, which allowed me to beat 4 Madness out of 4! MUs and thoughts ⬇️

@darkvulpine This is how they write these articles now they highlight one “fringe” deck that won a challenge or similar event and use that as an example for why the format is healthy. It’s very cringe.

Why was most of the Modern section of the B&R an ad for Living End?

@CameraColossus @SaffronOlive Pretty sure we are on the eve of a modern rcq season so I don’t know why people worked themselves into expecting vibes changes in modern. I don’t like how fast and linear modern feels a lot of the time but by all metrics it’s super diverse and competitive

@SaffronOlive Would have been nice to see a shakeup, especially in modern. Disappointing they are ok with how stale everything seems, nothing is "broken" right now but the format doesn't seem as open as I could be

@AfterDarkrai It might, it would certainly hurt green quite a bit. I'm not sure how else to make the format slower and less snowbally though.
