Good to be with friends and colleagues in Cardiff today to chair a meeting of the @CTBI Churches’ Forum for Inter-Religious Relations, with overall agreement that the best form of dialogue is honest, constant, intentional and naturally evolving, not merely transactional and responsive to crisis.

Blessed and privileged to accompany HH @PopeTawadros II on his fraternal visit to HAH @EcuPatriarch Bartholomew in the See of Constantinople (Istanbul), signalling a sincere expression on the part of both for a furthering of steps towards unity between our Oriental and Eastern Orthodox Families of Churches. This historic visit will have a significant positive impact on Church unity in years to come. The visit also provided an opportunity for His Holiness to pay a pastoral visit to our Coptic Orthodox Church community in Istanbul, and to visit our sister Syriac and Armenian Orthodox Churches.
