So much urban cultural discourse on here is just “I’m 27 and childless. I can’t possibly imagine being 40 and having kids. Fortunately I will never be 40 so I don’t have to think about it.”

There’s like maybe a maximum of 8 jobs where I understand what the job is. Shopkeeper. Farmer. Teacher of some kind. Priest. Novelist. Journalist. Private detective. Chef. That’s it. What is a data engineer. I don’t know.

Can't vote. Can't buy cigarettes. Still four years away from being able to order a beer. But not too young to become a world champion.

i have not spoken on the 65 game rule because i’m ultimately not super passionate about it, but this cade situation is the first thing that’s really pushed me over the edge. he’s had an all-NBA season and absolutely shouldn’t be penalized for a collapsed lung with 14 games left.

Straight. Dominance. 😳 Rowan’s Seth Clevenger led wire-to-wire to win the men’s 5000-meter title at the NCAA D3 Indoor Championships! 🏆 UW-La Crosse’s Aidan Matthai (14:03) and NYU freshman Theo Udelson-Nee (14:06) rounded out the top-three.

57:20!!! WORLD RECORD 🚨 🇺🇬 JACOB KIPLIMO TAKES BACK THE HALF MARATHON WORLD RECORD AND WINS THE 2026 LISBON HALF MARATHON.

This is the most ridiculous TFRRS page I've ever seen. Brianna Lindo did 11 EVENTS IN ONE DAY at the CUNYAC Indoor Championships last week, ranging from the weight throw to the DMR. (H/T @CitiusMag /the Lap Count) tfrrs.org/athletes/92108…

An update on those chasing the World Indoor Championships standard for Team USA... 🇺🇸 Nathan Green and Luke Houser, who finished 1–2 at the USATF Indoor Championships 1500m final on Sunday but have not run under the 3:36.00 qualifying standard, will run a 1500m at UPenn's Ott Center at the Philadelphia Runner Track Club Indoor Classic on Saturday. Ben Allen is slated to pace. ➡️ Green's 3:37.65 victory on Sunday was an indoor 1500m PB. His outdoor PB is 3:32.20 from 2024. ➡️ Houser's indoor 1500m PB is 3:35.85 (en route to a 3:51.14 mile) from last year. He ran 3:33.99 outdoors last summer. There will also be an 800m, where Sean Dolan (the U.S. runner-up in the 800m) will chase the 1:45.90 standard as well. Luciano Fiore is slated to pace. ➡️ On Sunday, Dolan ran a season's best of 1:47.16 to take second behind 17-year-old phenom Cooper Lutkenhaus. His indoor 800m PB is 1:46.90. He ran 1:45.67 outdoors last summer.
