🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

@SydneyLWatson I am a HIIT enjoyer, not so much pilates. What about HIIT triggers your vertigo? I would assume up down motions but I don't know. HIIT can be done with just forward movement. Norwegian 5x5, for example. I tried the P90X pilates and really disliked the weird breaths/breathing.

I had been living in London for 7 years of my life.
I loved it. The architecture, the incredible people, the food. Everything was so beautiful.
I’ve had to make a tough decision, though. I can’t live there anymore.
It’s not the city I moved to years ago. The beautiful vibes have been replaced with an air of criminality and danger in so many parts.
Sure, there are nice neighborhoods… but you need six or seven roommates to afford them.
As much as I hate to say it, it’s not safe for a girl like me to live there any longer.
I’m saying goodbye to the city I once called home. On to a new chapter.

I just posted about my 8k hospital bill the other day and a bunch of clowns told me I was wrong for being intentionally uninsured (I am uninsured bc that shit is a scam) -
Your situation unfortunately reinforces my position. You pay probably insane monthly rates to get smacked with a bill anyway. I don't, and we've ended up in the same place.
Insurance is fucked. But there is NO NEED for medicine to cost this much either.

Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because.
.@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact.
This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium.
Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare.

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.
