It would have been exceptionally lame for a spin-off show character with little presence in the main series to dispatch Homelander as it’d be a massive disservice to the main arc of the show, but given how powerful they built her up to be, they still could have found a way to work her into the final season a bit more. Perhaps introducing a new powerful villain who helps Homelander and letting her hold him off while The Boys try to finish up a mission. Among other things she could aid with.

How big is Cthulhu? If you carefully read "The Call of Cthulhu" you can work out the size of the creature (presumably Cthulhu) encountered by the Emma's crew. And it turns out it's a super-useful size. In fact, Cthulhu is the same size vis-a-vis a human that YOU are vis-a-vis a 28mm figure. So you can pick up a figure from the gaming table, menace it, and say, "See? This is how big Cthulhu is compared to you puny mortals." I was quite excited when I worked this out. Soooo useful for gaming. 1/3

@DerekPederson3 There's not really a "succeeded" in John Brown's story. He might have gotten the weapons but distributing them and sparking a revolution without it being put down are an entirely different story. He succeeded by terrifying the South into deciding on secession.
