A new study co-led by @UofUHealth and @CTSIatUCSF revealed that people who were pregnant when they contracted COVID could develop significant long-term symptoms, even with simple activities. @UCSF_ObGynRS

We just wrapped up our 2024 Clinical & Translational Science Institute retreat, to celebrate two decades of work, and plan for the future. Since 2006, we've been working to move research out of the lab, to improve real-world health outcomes. Here are our biggest takeaways… 🧵

11/ We're proud of our work, but have much more to do. Some of the ideas we brainstormed might make their way into future plans, while others might never take off. Thank you to UCSF researchers, staff, students, leaders who spend a day celebrating, connecting, and dreaming big.

10/ We celebrated wins, but our focus was on the future, and setting a foundation for CTSI's 3rd decade. We spent hours brainstorming on clinical AI safety, workflows for multilingual recruitment, turning research into policy, growing CRC pathways for more populations, and more.
