Glad to join @CTVMI and the Christian Homeschool Network for the gubernatorial forum this weekend. Michigan needs leaders willing to defend our values and I’m unapologetic about where I stand: faith, family, parental rights, and protecting the next generation of Michiganders.

This weekend I had the chance to stop by the Governor Candidate Forum hosted by Citizens for Traditional Values and Michigan Christian Homeschool Network - MICHN. MiCHN had just wrapped up their homeschool conference and before everyone departed they gave them the opportunity to sit down and hear from four of the Governor candidates (all were invited). It was refreshing to be among these families. To the hosting organizations, thank you for the honor of the invitation! I loved getting to know these people who I one day hope to serve as Michigan's next Secretary of State. #EducationMatters @MICHN4U @CTVMI

Homeschool parents are the backbone of education freedom in Michigan and they don’t need permission from Lansing to raise their kids right. @JohnJamesMI is at the INCH Homeschool Conference today championing the moms and dads doing the hard work, and he’ll be the governor who has their back. 🇺🇸

Today I had the opportunity to attend INCH2026, Michigan’s 42nd Annual Homeschool Conference. Citizens for Traditional Values also did a fantastic job hosting the Governor’s Debate, with my friends Dave and Stephen Kallman serving as moderators. It was great to see such wonderful event being held here in Eaton County! I truly appreciated the chance to speak with so many families about their experiences and the challenges they face. As a prosecutor, I have worked closely with parents on issues like these. Attending a homeschool gubernatorial candidate forum. Protecting the absolute right to homeschool with zero government interference, including opposing any type of registry, needs to be a red line for every candidate.
