@will_nba_hater Yeah I’m way more intrigued by the possibilities what Cam could unlock with that roster than whatever semblance of lineup balance they think they would get from DP or even AJ. Kessler and JJJ has a proof of concept I’d feel really good about defensively too

@CT_WIU I don’t believe in him as a shooter. Jaren is a pretty great defensive anchor he just can’t rebound. But boozer and Lauri are such good rebounders I think they cover for each other’s weaknesses well.

Can someone explain to me why the Jazz don’t just move on from Walker Kessler and rock forward with a Lauri-Boozer-JJJ front court? The wing defense is not ideal but it’s not with Kessler either. I think that trio has extremely synergistic skillsets

Strongly agree. Walker Kessler is the only one I’d even consider but the Bulls need to be in absorb mode, not spend mode. Idc about the lottery reform. Be bad next year no matter what. There’s maybe one guy on the current roster who will be here in 3-4 years.

Don’t really get ppl in bulls twitter talking about spending a lot in free agency. Bulls have close to zero assets right now and a terrible contract in patwil a mid one in Giddey. They should be taking back bad salary. Resign Leonard Miller on the cheap. Get all the picks.

@FantasyKash Caleb went from league worst to league average Y1-Y2. Now, given the current deficiencies in his game, I think it’s fair to say going top 8 or above would require even more of a leap than that gap. Diff between a guy you can win with (he is now) and you win bc of (projection)

Fully acknowledge he improved down the stretch and Y2 w/ Ben will be nice But 13th in EPA/DB in a top-5 (I would argue 2nd at worst behind only MIN) infrastructure? anyone putting him in top-10 talks (idk if Steven is, ik Theo is tho) is doing a fair amount of projecting no?

@goodsportztakez fwiw, he was 13th in epa/dropback, right ahead of Joe Burrow epa/play is dinging him for aborted snaps, which fall on the QB no matter what. Chicago led the league with 6 of them last season and lost about 11.5 EPA on those plays. that's pretty significant!

A reminder about the Caruso-Giddey trade: even if you believed Giddey could be a multi-time All-Star, and even if Giddey becomes one, the Bulls still got fleeced. It was malpractice not to get a pick back based on the value of the trade assets at the time. Nothing will change it.
